Melissa H. Molina-Trinidad, MBA, C-TAGME, is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) and a strong commitment to healthcare, medical education, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

She currently serves as the Senior Residency Program Coordinator for General Surgery residents at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) in New York City. In this role, she likely plays a crucial part in the management and coordination of the residency program, ensuring that residents receive the necessary training and support.

She is the Founder and Immediate Past President of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) Tri-State Chapter. She played a significant role in establishing this chapter, which was the 8th chapter of the organization and the first in the Northeast region. In recognition of her leadership, she received the NALHE Chapter Leader of the Year award at the 2022 Summit.

Melissa has been serving on the Advisory Board of her NALHE chapter and will now be taking on the role of Director of Chapter Operations at the National level effectively immediately. In this position, she will oversee and support all chapter operations as NALHE continues to expand across the United States.

She is a candidate to become a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Achieving this status is a significant milestone and a testament to her expertise and dedication to the healthcare industry.

Melissa earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Mercy University in 2018. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Stony Brook University, with a minor in Women’s Studies, which she obtained in 2009. Her educational background aligns with her career in healthcare and healthcare administration.

Melissa’s leadership roles and active involvement in various healthcare organizations highlight her dedication and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the importance of representation, and mentorship.
